Chinwe Oniah is a writer and filmmaker based in the Bay Area. She’s written for KQED, California Magazine, Blavity as well as produced and directed for KQED Art’s series If Cities Could Dance. She is currently a Producer at BAYCAT Studios. She manages Filhos de Bimba Bay Area, an organization focused on the promotion and conservation the Afro-Brazilian artform, capoeira.
